Bill Anderson Ride Share - Volunteers Needed
We’re looking for additional volunteers to help provide occasional rides for Bill Anderson. Several regular helpers are in a busy season right now, so a little extra support would go a long way. If you’re able to assist, even once a month, please contact Josh Ely (785-491-9756).
Food Drive
For the month of November Rachel McManus will be facilitating a food drive at our church to donate to local food pantries. If you’re able, please consider donating non-perishable food items to help those in our community who are in need. When you’re doing your grocery shopping this week grab an extra can/box or two- every little bit goes a long way!
Examples of needed items to donate at this time:
Canned beans, veggies, soup, chicken/tuna, etc.
Whole grain pasta
Brown rice
Peanut or other nut butters
Dried fruit (with no added sugar if possible)
Cereal – hot and cold (whole grain, low sugar preferred)
Formula donations (unopened/unexpired)
The donation bin will be located by the bookstall and will be clearly marked. Any donations will be collected each Sunday.
Please check back with the newsletter each week for any updated needs!
For further questions please contact Rachel at 4054109341 or Rachel.mcmanus87@gmail.com

prayer points
Pray for the regular preaching of the Word in our church. And for God to raise up more faithful preachers who can serve at our church, in our region, and across the world.
Pray for the regular preaching of the Word in our church.
That we would live dependently on God’s grace; believing in Jesus who died for us, and living by the power of the Spirit in us.
For students and employees in stressful time at end of year/semester.
For our financial faithfulness – pray for more of our church members giving, and more being able to give more.
For Christ to be honored and our church to be blessed by the labors of our elders and deacons. Pray for God to raise up more godly leaders.
That God will give us grace to work and pray for the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
For those who feel left out and excluded.
That we would understand the need to make our relationships here transparent, to ask and answer careful, loving questions.
That God would save one more person through the gospel ministry of our church.
For the Smithermans - Pray for the whole family to receive visas so they can return to South Asia. Pray for their kids, especially Timothy, as we transition back. Ask for good friends for him to play with, things that are special and fun there, and that it would become home again. Pray for opportunities to reconnect with friends and ministry partners upon their return that allow quick paths into returning to the work! Pray that they would abide every day in Jesus.
Immanuel Church, Weymouth, MA – Thank God for peace and unity in their church. Pray for the Lord to save people through their evangelistic efforts. Pray for more elders and deacons. Please pray for contentment with our meeting space and for the Lord to provide something more suitable and long-term.
Iglesia Crecer, a church in Cordoba, Argentina – Praythat God would give them wisdom as they look for a property and that the church would be unified in this decision.
